Terms & Conditions
Sawbridgeworth LTC – Coaching Terms and Conditions
Course Cancellation by SLTC
Sawbridgeworth LTC reserves the right to cancel any coaching course prior to its commencement for any reason, including insufficient participant numbers. In such cases, participants will be offered alternative course dates or a full refund.
Session Cancellation Due to Weather
Coaching sessions will only be cancelled due to weather if the courts are deemed unplayable. Participants will be notified by email at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.
Rearranged or Credited Sessions
Where possible, cancelled sessions will be rescheduled. If a rearrangement is not feasible, a credit will be issued to your SLTC account. Credits are valid for six (6) months from the date of issue.
Junior Session Cancellations
For junior players, if a session is cancelled by SLTC, a credit will be issued. These credits are also valid for a maximum of six (6) months from the date of issue.
Non-Attendance by Participants
Credits or refunds will not be provided for sessions missed due to a participant’s inability to attend.
Partial Sessions
If a session runs for more than 50% of its scheduled duration before being interrupted (e.g., by weather), it will be considered as having taken place and no credit will be issued.
Weather-Appropriate Clothing
Players must come prepared for outdoor conditions. Sessions will proceed in light rain; therefore, a waterproof jacket is advised.
Footwear Requirements
All players must wear suitable tennis footwear (e.g., tennis trainers) to ensure safety and reduce the risk of injury.
Participant Conduct
SLTC reserves the right to exclude any participant from current and future sessions if their behaviour is deemed inappropriate or disruptive.
Junior Collection Policy
- Children under the age of 8 must be collected from the court gate by a parent or guardian. Players in Orange Ball groups (ages 8+) and above will be allowed to leave the court area unsupervised unless the club is otherwise informed in writing.
